What You Will Learn
Help your patients retain their natural teeth!
This course will be about tooth and root resorption, which is an inflammatory process that causes loss of tooth and root structure without the presence of dental caries. Modern day patients are now, more than ever, less willing to lose their teeth, unless absolutely necessary. When resorption is inaccurately diagnosed, left untreated or improperly treated, it creates a significant risk for teeth becoming non-restorable and requiring extraction.
This one-of-a-kind course in Houston, will present evidence based information related to etiology, diagnosis, classification and clinical management. A review of clinical cases performed in the last 5-8 years will highlight the importance of specialist collaboration for optimal results.
Many dentists are relying on outdated information and a limited understanding of resorption, which is insufficient to educate patients on treatment options. By understanding the correct diagnosis and management of this condition, Dentists, Hygienists and Specialist Dentists can help patients find the most appropriate and most conservative solutions when this problem is encountered.
Have you seen these irregularities on radiographs or CBCT scans taken on your patients?
Would you like to know more about what treatment options there may be versus extraction?
Could your patient’s benefit from these treatment options for resorption management?
